The Mash Tun Was Opened in 2005 by Avid Home Brewer and Neighborhood Resident Christian Bravard. While Living in the Changing and Ever Growing Alberta Arts District, he Saw an Opportunity To Combine His Love of Brewing With His Many Years Experience in the Restaurant Industry To Provide A Friendly, Comfortable Place for Locals To Gather and Enjoy Great Food and Beer. Over the Years, the Mash Tun Brewpub Has Become A Popular Destination Not Only for Our Neighbors But for Folks All Around Portland and Beyond. We Continue To Hold True To the Original Concept of the Pub and When You Come by the Mash Tun You'll Always Find A Casual and Comfortable Atmosphere, Friendly Service and Great Food and Hand Crafted Beer.
